The essentials, in six sentences
- Vibe Station is an independent editor for the Boss GT-1 pedal, made by Tensorial. We are not Roland or Boss, and they have nothing to do with this.
- The app works without an account. The account is for keeping your tones and your recordings in the cloud.
- What you play is yours. We claim no right over your recordings or your tones, and we do not use them to train any model.
- The voice assistant gets things wrong. It operates your pedal at your request, and you remain responsible for what comes out of the speakers.
- There is a free plan and a Plus plan. The cloud is part of Plus: on the free plan everything stays on your device. Plus also gives more assistant time per day.
- You can leave whenever you want, deleting the account through the app, and take your files with you.
1. Who offers this service
Refactoring Soluções em Tecnologia LTDA CNPJ 47.489.920/0001-89 Rua Cayowaa, 575, apto 131 — Perdizes, São Paulo/SP, Brazil Website: www.tensorial.com.br Contact: contato@tensorial.com.br
Tensorial is the group's brand. Vibe Station is a product of the company.
2. What Vibe Station is
An app that talks to the Boss GT-1 pedal over USB to read and change its parameters, builds backing tracks, records what you play and responds to voice commands.
We have no connection with Roland Corporation or with Boss. "Boss" and "GT-1" are trademarks of their owners, used here only to say which equipment the app works with. This app is not authorised, sponsored or endorsed by them.
3. What you need in order to use it
- A compatible Android device and a USB data cable, with an OTG adapter if your phone needs one.
- A Boss GT-1 pedal, for the functions that depend on it.
- For the assistant and for the account: internet access.
The app edits and records without an account. The account is optional and exists for syncing.
4. Your account
- You can create an account with an e-mail and a password, or sign in with your Google account.
- The data you provide must be true, and the password is yours to keep. What happens in your account is your responsibility.
- One account is for one person. Do not share it.
- Minimum age: 13. Between 13 and 17, the account depends on a parent's or guardian's consent, asked for at creation and confirmed by e-mail. See section 11 of the privacy policy.
- We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, and we say why when we do.
5. Plans, quotas and limits
| Free | Vibe Station Plus | |
|---|---|---|
| Editing the pedal | Yes | Yes |
| Backing tracks | Yes | Yes |
| Recording | Yes | Yes |
| Keeping things in the cloud | No | 1 GB |
| Assistant time per day | 10 minutes | 2 hours |
The assistant quota counts by day and resets at the same instant every day, the same one for everybody. The app shows what time that is on your clock.
Space counts the size of the stored file — recordings go compressed in AAC, about 2 MB per minute, so 1 GB is close to eight hours of music.
Once the space limit is reached, the app stops sending new things and says so — it does not delete anything of yours to make room. You choose what to remove.
If you cancel Plus
Nothing is deleted that day. You get 90 days of grace with everything stored as it is, and in that period you may download what you want, delete what you do not, or subscribe again. We tell you in the app and by e-mail, saying how much is stored and until when.
After those 90 days, we remove everything that is in the cloud, from the oldest recording to the newest — and never without telling you first. The free plan has no cloud: whatever is on your device stays on your device, and downloading before the deadline is what keeps the rest.
5.1 Price and billing
The price and the period are the ones shown on Google Play at the time of purchase, in your currency. We deliberately do not repeat them here: prices change, and a legal document that carries a price forces the document to be reissued — and re-accepted — for a reason that is not legal.
Billing is done exclusively by the store. We neither collect nor keep your card details or those of any payment method.
5.2 Cancellation
You can cancel whenever you want, with no penalty, through the store itself: Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
After cancelling, the benefits continue until the end of the period already paid for, and there is no further charge.
Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancellation is done in the store.
5.3 Right of withdrawal
Under art. 49 of Brazil's Consumer Protection Code, you may withdraw from the purchase within 7 calendar days of buying it, and get your money back. The refund is processed by the store where you bought it; if you have difficulty, write to contato@tensorial.com.br and we will help.
5.4 If the quotas change
The contracted terms hold for the whole paid cycle. If you subscribe in a month when the quota is X, that quota is yours for that entire cycle, even if we change it the next day. A reduction only reaches you at the following renewal, and only after being announced — and if you do not want to continue on the new terms, you can cancel before renewing, without being charged.
The quota is restored at each renewal. What is unused expires at the end of the cycle and does not accumulate.
5.5 If the service goes down
If the service is unavailable for a relevant period within a cycle you paid for, you are entitled to an extension of the subscription for the equivalent time or a proportional refund — whichever you prefer. Just ask at contato@tensorial.com.br, and you do not have to prove any loss.
Acts of God and force majeure follow art. 393 of the Brazilian Civil Code. Even in those, the right above still holds, because it is not compensation: it is you not paying for a service you did not receive.
6. What is yours
Your recordings and your tones are yours. You authorise us only to store and transmit them in order to provide the service you asked for — nothing more. We do not publish them, we do not license them to third parties and we do not use them to train artificial intelligence models.
By syncing a recording, you state that you hold the rights to what you recorded.
7. What is ours
The app, the name Vibe Station, the brand and the code belong to Tensorial. You receive a personal, non-exclusive and revocable licence to use the app — not to copy it, resell it or derive another from it.
The sound banks used in the backing tracks have their own licence, which permits distribution within the app.
8. What the app does not promise
- The assistant gets things wrong. It interprets what you say and operates the pedal; a request can become an adjustment you did not want. Every change is confirmed on the pedal before being announced, but that reduces the error, it does not remove it.
- Volume. Tone adjustments change how loud the output is. You are responsible for what reaches your ears and your speakers — and for protecting your hearing.
- Your pedal. The app writes parameters documented by protocol, and refuses to write to the fields it has not verified on hardware. Even so, changing a piece of equipment's settings is at your own risk.
- Availability. The cloud service can go down. The functions that do not depend on it keep working.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent Brazilian law permits — and the Consumer Protection Code has limits nobody can set aside by contract — we are not liable for lost profits, for the loss of data you did not sync, or for damage to equipment arising from use outside what this document describes.
Nothing here removes our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
10. How this ends
- You: delete the account through the app or the website, at any time, without needing a reason. Before that, you can download what is yours.
- Us: we may discontinue the service by giving 30 days' notice, in the app and by e-mail, during which you will be able to download your files. A subscription in progress is refunded in proportion to what remained.
11. When these terms change
Each version has the identifier vAAAA.N. A material change is announced inside the app and requires a new acceptance; a wording correction does not.
12. Law and jurisdiction
Brazilian law. The courts of the consumer's domicile, as Brazil's Consumer Protection Code requires.
The authoritative language is Portuguese; the translations exist so that you can understand, and in case of divergence of interpretation the Portuguese text prevails.
